Presentation of ultra-light module version

ultra-light module - Gaptek

The ultra-light module is a project that is being developed in the call “Collaboration Challenges 2016” in order to support cooperation projects between companies and research organisms. The call is included in the R&D Governmental Program Oriented to Societal Challenges.

In the project “Development of a transportable energetic island system for modular structures of low demand and high efficiency, called ENERGYSIS, the product began as a result of a study that Gaptek has been improving. The module successfully responded to tuning and prototyping construction tests, where the assemblies, construction times and packaging, among others, were tested.

This development has allowed us to accomplish the design of a product that is easy to assemble, is made for difficult access terrains and prepared for areas that have been destroyed by natural disasters or conflict situations. It facilitates shelter to disadvantaged people in case of catastrophes or dangerous conditions.
