“The Cuc” is a modular structure composed by large spans and aluminium curved profiles, which form the trusses and straps that join trusses. The building roof has an organic form with a variable height that creates some skylights that provides natural light into the inner space. The covered area have been done according to all current standards regarding the buildings of similar use (hotel, theatre, exhibition, etc.).

BCN WORLD RACE
This building was an intervention located in Pla de Miquel Tradell by a modular Gaptek structure for the Barcelona World Race 2010 event.
In the inside layout were spaces for sponsors, teams, and recreational activities; playground, dining areas, information, merchandising, accreditations, bikers and press area activities.
BCN FASHION WEEK
In 2011 the 080 Barcelona Fashion Week took place, with more than 60 designers who presented their collections in the showroom. More than 20 parades took place during the days of such event. Parallel activities were also carried out for all audiences.
Barcelona Fashion Week was held once completed the Barcelona World Race, so both events aimed to use the modular structure “EL CUC” for its advantages. Only the interior and exterior decoration was changed in order to give a different image.
AIRPORT TERMINAL IN KUWAIT
The airport terminal in Kuwait was a provisional air terminal project while the definitive airport terminal work was released. This modular airport stands out for its fast construction, which is five times faster than traditional constructions, enable to set up a terminal airport in a short period of time through its considerable lightness and resistance aluminium structure.
The terminal had the capacity to attend 200 passenger arrivals and departures. The Project took into consideration the IATA and OACI standards, regarding the capacity and management of luggage and passengers. The distribution was regulated between departures, arrivals, passenger control, commercial area and restaurants. The building arranged two stories high, with a third control tower.
The modular Gaptek system also allowed an easy reconfiguration of the terminal through the use of full existing materials without interrupting the daily operative. The modular structure developed modules up to 2.40m of height and 2.40 m of large, extensible up to 7.20 metres of large. The corrugated roof with curved structure and grooved profiles gave an upper space as well as a large porch on the building facade.
